Hi, I’m Meg Gardner. I was born and raised in New Berlin, teach at New Berlin West High School, and am raising my family here.
 

I’m running for Alderperson in District 2 to bring thoughtful, transparent leadership focused on responsible decision making, quality of life, and strong community values.
 

I care deeply about this community and believe District 2 deserves strong, responsive, dedicated representation.

I’m ready to do the work and I’d be honored to earn your vote.

I come from a family who cares deeply about this city.
My father, Ted Wysocki, was Alderman of District 2 and Mayor of New Berlin. I have the same values and commitment he had.
 

I truly know what it takes to represent District 2.

What I Stand For

As your Alderperson, I will focus on:

  • Being responsive to all constituents

  • Maintaining a balanced city budget

  • Responsible property tax management

  • Keeping New Berlin safe and livable

  • Strong support for excellent schools

  • Well-maintained streets, utilities, parks, and public spaces

  • Encouraging community involvement and local engagement

My family and I chose to return here because we value strong schools, engaged neighbors, and a community that looks out for one another. I want to help ensure New Berlin continues to be a place families are proud to call home.

I am actively involved in our community and understand how city decisions impact families:

  • Coordinator, Senior Citizen Fall Clean-Up Day

  • Member, New Berlin United Athletic Foundation – Outdoor Facilities Task Force

  • Regular viewer of School Board and Common Council meetings
